Grab a few beignets, a cup of coffee or tea, and join us in Monroe, Louisiana and begin a wonderful reading journey!   Books and Beignets (BAB) is a small, newly formed African American book club and social organization for positive, spiritual women who enjoy reading!  Our book selections will vary to include non-fiction (true crime, biography, autobiography), fiction (mystery, suspense,  short stories, Christian), new authors and other genres of interest. 

We meet once a month, on the 3rd Saturday, at 2:00 p.m., to discuss the monthly book selection, bond and fellowship with one another!  Meetings are held at a member's home, or coffee shops or bookstores.  In addition to our book club meetings, we will participate in volunteer events to promote literacy in our community!  For more information please contact Sonya Ward at booksandbeignets@yahoo.com.
